A Note About Submission Previews

We have been receiving a lot of submissions lately with either a very small preview, or no preview at all.  When submitting anything to a gallery in WinCustomize you must have a correctly sized preview or the submission will be rejected.

You can find more info in the Tips for Moderation Guide.

Wallpaper, .dream, WindowBlinds, Logons, etc. submissions need to have a preview of at least 1024x768.

CursorFX, Icons, etc. can have a smaller preview, but I would recommend at least a 400px preview at the minimum.

I've had a submission that I know had a preview attached today and when I checked it in my gallery, the preview would not disply as if it was missing. I'm sure it was attached because when I set it up to upload, I double checked the files before I sent them. I re-uploaded it and it displayed fine.

Could there be something on the server side causing problem?

Sometimes there's a cache/update issue...and a preview is slow to display, but the main issue is with people forgetting [or not being aware] that the small site preview images are auto-generated from the uploaded image size....which needs to be at least 1024x768 so there's something 'big enough' to actually be worth looking at as a preview...;)
