LAN poblems.

I just got Political Machine 2008 and tried to play a multiplayer LAN game. When I clicked Multiplayer, it told me an update was required. So my question is, do you have to be connected to the internet to play a LAN game? Most games I have played let you pick online or LAN first.

I bought the boxed retail version. I am not sure if this makes a difference with the Impulse program and everything. Is there a patch that lets you play LAN without connecting to the Internet? We have dial-up and on only one computer so internet play or even connection required for impulse is out of the question.

Any response or help is appreciated!

Once you have the updated version you shouldn't need an on-line connection to play.

nop. All is update and without an internet connexion no way to acces lan multiplayer.

I am going to try again and again. but it don't seems to work.
