Rip off

 cast your mind back to 2001.

 Conquest-frontier wars..SoaSE  is just a remake of that game with a bit more research and fleet size changes.

 Dont get me wrong like ..SoaSE is great fun im just a bit dissapointed that theres not really anything new in it over Conquest.yea yea the gfx are cool etc but even the ship abilities and classes are vitually the same.

 Bet we get admirals for fleets in a patch or more likley an add-on.

Its not a rip-off of Conquest. It's a similar game style for sure, but both are good games.

Conquest was a normal RTS with some logistical additions, sins takes that idea to the next level.

I wish it had take more things from Coqnuest (turrets for a start). But there's many things Sins does way better than Conquest could.

In fact I miss having my resource ships actualy do something useful rather than just go from place to place.

saying sins rips off another game that is a space rts is kinda silly.

sins is ripping off simcity and command and c&c or risk for that matter if you look at it that way. sins is a highly enjoyable game that was designed to fit into many levels of play. they definately reached that goal.

i guess you might see CoD4 as rip off of wolf3d too. idk.

There is a progression to everything:

First->Second->etc...

HoneyMooners->FlintStones->Simpsons->FamilyGuy->MajorDad
Dune2->Command+Conquer->StarCraft
Empire->ReachForTheStars->SINS

The new American fighter planes are now 5th generation, so HURRAY for ripoffs!!!
