Texturing a new ship

ok i know when i put the new ship into sins its black cause there is no texture how do i go about changeing that i have search and cant find a good tutorial

Well, if no one else helps, PM Soviet911v2, he's great at that sort of thing, in fact that is what he is doing in my mod...I'd help, but ermm umm...I don't know either, hence why Soviet is doing the texturing...

err, I would explain right now but it will take a while hold on for a day im making a tutrial on everthing not explained in the documentations, and texturing will be there. Im still trying to find out couple of things for myself (like how to control bloom...) anyway...here is reference to two threads wich explained practicly everthing for me
