Jesse Jackson about B. Hussein Obama

Not that I like Jesse Jackson, after all he is one of the biggest racist on the planet!

His comment about the Senator was one that was supposed to not be caught on microphone, but it was!

My opinion about it is that is was simply a comment made from a man that sees his little empire slipping away, no longer will Jesse and his main man Al Sharpton will be the head Negroes in town and Jesse hates that! Another Black-man getting more news and face time than he is! Oh the pain! Oh the agony!

Would Jesse have made that comment to the man sitting next to him if that man was a White man? I don't think so! After all Jesse would never demean another Black to a White, but since the man sitting next to him was another Black, Jesse felt comfortable disrespecting what might be the next president of the United States, {G-D Forbid}.

What say you folks?

I'm sorry but it sounds like something a KKK member would have said:

"It's about time for the White race to stand up get a backbone and start seeing what has happened to themselves."

That to me sounds terrible. It's open call for further segragation.
End of quote

That sounds honest, to me, and doesn't "call" for anything. You reveal your own prejudice in those comments.

I don't know where you live, but my society desegregated long ago. However, since passage of the Civil Rights Act, the black community's high-profile leader's have been doing everything they can to maintain the racial divide. Meanwhile, ordinary African Americans have been going about living their lives in a mostly color-blind society, the exceptions being where "whitey" is no longer welcome. Everything that happens to (& everything done by) high-profile African Americans has racial overtones, thanks to the like of Jesse & Al & the MSM which give them airtime. Nothing that happens to high-profile Caucasian Americans has any racial overtones, unless of course, it also involves an African American. When telling the truth before an African American audience is "talking down" to them, there is a problem, and the problem is Jesse Jackson's refusal to let racism die.

Dr. Guy it doesn't surprise me to see you agreeing with moderateman, you guys are all cut with the same scissors. And I am not surprised you are a racist. After all, (go ahead - chomp on this) liberals usually are.But thanks for the compliment. To be compared favorably with MM is an honor.

End of Dr's quote

You're assuming I'm a liberal, because in your very rigid mind, anyone that argues with a point that you've entomed in your psyche as "conservative", they are automatically liberals.  Because in your mind you see blue and red, nothing more, you see two labels and you are incapable of existing in any other fashion.  If you were to even entertain the notion someone might disagree with something liberal and agree with something liberal all within the same time period it would make your head explode.  Cheers at being another agent of the clone arrmy.  I've never said I would vote for this or that, yet you state I'm a liberal, that's so predictable.  You also have no basis to say I'm a racist.  It's just the simplest defense you can muster.  I say forget all this division, forget all separatism, forget any segregation, and you say I'm racist?  A breath of insanity.

It's appaling how easy it was to bring racism back into the picture as the strong political argument.  In 2004 it was patriotism.  They are (that being the campaign machina and it's gears) are toying with our minds.  You have been conscripted as a yielder of the term racism, I've fallen victim to it, and so have many others.  Look at you so quick to call me racist, ignoring reality because its such an easy term that rolls off the tongue so quickly.  I don't know about you but even having this conversation makes me feel used.

Sometimes we tend to filter things through our own prejudices. I didn't take it that way at all. In this country "white guilt" on the part of some people who are overly PC has pretty much created a situation where things are pretty much as MM describes. He just tends to be more direct and passionate in the way he expresses himself. MM is Jewish and is very familiar with bigotry. He's also a good man and would never associate himself with such cretins as the KKK (who wouldn't have his hebe ass anyway).

End of MasonM's quote

I like you more than I like the zombie Dr. Guy, so I will be less adversarial.  Look, I'm well aware that I might filter something through my own prejudiced mind.  You didn't take it that way so that means you filtered it through your mind.  We disagree it's as simple as that.

Yeah it is very honest, I never called him a liar.  I'm sorry I used the word "segregation", I was using the more apt separatism previously, which calling for a racial group to stand up apart from another is.  I didn't think that someone would actually consider the technical value of the word segregation that no longer applies.  While, I highly disagree with SOME African American leaders who come out and use "separation" as means to maintain the divide, people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, I feel that all calls for separation, division, differentiation, disintegration, disassociation, are detrimental towards any progress.  Did I use enough synonyms and are they in the proper context?  I think that what moderateman is calling for is the same shite that Jackson calls for and isn't helping anyone out.  The problem is people aren't thinking.  Furthermore, on the other side, there are white people who openly use racial slurs, against other ethnicities, do we not forget that there are people out there convincing others that obama is a muslim?  I've found some of these people to be white.  That's racism.  It exists on both sides.  The problem lies that we keep separating.  We keep associating ourselves with each other because of race.  What you guys are calling for is nothing more than primitive tribalism, and if you don't call out the saboteurs on both sides of the isles don't call out at all.

It is interesting that I just engaged you on another thread to show you the error or your ways on that one, and you prove it here (just this situation). Now, you might want to point to where I called you a liberal. I did call you a racist. But let us use the logic you are so much calling for.

I said liberals are usually racists. I said you were a racist. But I did not say all racists are liberals. Therefore, your leap of logic, erroneous as it is, does not follow. YOu just made the error you are trying to assign to me in the above quote.

Quite frankly, having read some of your stuff, the only thing that I have gathered so far is that you hate Bush. Again, liberals hate Bush. But again, I never said (in the previous 2 statements) that all people who hate Bush are liberal. SO you cannot assume I am calling you a liberal there either. But you go ahead and assume and make an ass out of yourself.

And that you do not like my tag line appears to be a given. But then that is your problem not mine. At least in the last few rantings you have made on these forums, I can at least observe that I am more of a breath of sanity than you are.

O, a final observation. As for you being a racist, where is it written that all racist burn crosses? Since you are fond of telling others to read, I would suggest you read some selected works of Dr. Walter E. Williams and Thomas Sowell. You may want to rework your pleading denial above afterwards.

Charles you repeated exactly what you said again, failing to address my second reply, as if you can't tear yourself away from the mainstream reverse racism argument, and actually posit something that is tinged with understanding of the human mind. There is nothing for me to reply again on so in my third reply i will say SEE MY SECOND REPLY.

OK, now I know not to take anything you say serious considering you can't even tell when a person has only made 1 comment. Please point out where I repeated anything since this is only my second comment on this article?

Charles, let's not marginalize my point. My basic point is ,"why separate yourself and create a further division by calling a race to "stand up" and separate itself based on race?" I know it's hard to discern that I mean any race, not just black or white, but see what I'm saying. I think it's on both sides. That doesn't change the fact that the person I was directing the comment to was saying that the "white race needs to stand up and see what has happened to itself" which again is calling for separation due to race which is counterproductive for progression beyond race based dissociation! Uh you're so blatantly indoctrinated you fail to grasp the overall scope of the situation and immediately point the finger at what you feel is "the other side". It's not my group its them blah blah blah, an apparently misguided comprehension of your lack of self analyses and nothing more than a "regurgitation" of what everyone else is saying. You might as well have a bar code on yrou arm. My aim is to tell each side, whatever sides there may be, to not openly call for separation based on race. Moderateman, whether he sees it or not, sounds exactly like a KKK member when he says and I quote
End of quote

I did not notice MM point this out so I will. Can you please point to me where he said the races should separate themselves? From what I could read it seemed he was saying White people should look at how they have lowered themselves to being bad people because of what happened to Black people many decades ago, white guilt as it's called. You may think we are being racist and somehow condemning Black people here but the reality is we want racism to end not by white people admitting to being wrong but by accepting that not all White people are racist and not everything related to the color black is racist. The only true blind person here is you who refuses to see that White people also have the right to tell their people to stand up and become better people.

Talk about one sided inequality. How is it that some Black people claim they don't have any rights is beyond me when the tables have tipped over so far on to their side that even saying "I'm sorry" can be seen as an insult.

I was taught to forgive and forget. I can forgive as I have done many, many times. But i can't always forget. That does not mean I constantly remind people of that which I forgave them for. When will we see the Black community forgive the White community for that which happened many decades ago and now only remains as a few weeds growing between large fields of flowers and green grass? When can we finally see the Black community move towards bettering our relationships as Americans and not as Black and White? If anyone is to be blamed for black being something not liked by human nature, then you would have to blame God. The color black just happens to be, by nature, related to all that is bad and dangerous but not everything black is bad.

I continue to say that at this point, terrorist are no longer the greatest threat to this nation. Osama Bin Laden falls short of being our worst enemy. We, ourselves, have become our own worst enemy. If I was Osama, I would simply sit back and not sacrifice a single one of my brothers and sisters while watching the US crumble upon itself thru the separation it's own people create on a daily basis thru race and politics.

This country and it's people are becoming a disgrace to what this country once stood for. All those soldiers died for nothing to make this the greatest country ever. The efforts of our Forefathers are now seeming in vain because we can't even get along with each other. Equality? There is no such thing as equality when ones mind is set and bent on satisfying one's selfish ambitions. Cause that's all this nation is becoming, a nation of selfish people.

By now it has become apparent to me you have a closed mind, so far you have inserted thoughts into the article that DO NOT EXCIST, so it fits YOUR argument.  You have accused me of being something I am NOT after people I have inter acted with for 4 years have told you you are wrong, you still insist I am a KKK member calling for segregation, now down to separation which in essence is still segregation. You put words in DOCG's mouth to fit your argument, Charles too, I believe... Docg was to kind to say it but I am not so kind today, you have gotten on my final nerve, so if it walks like a LIBERAL, QUACKS LIKE A LIBERAL, ARGUES LIKE A LIBERAL, YOU MUST BE A LIBERAL. Now knowing this we can continue, all the rational people armed with the knowledge that nothing they say will change a loony LIBERAL mind once it's made up.
