How to download patches ?

I am sorry to say but I bought this game in march 2006 and now I have installed it again and need to download all patches. I have a registered account and have received a speciel serial number , but where can I get hold of the patches ?

You must install http://www.impulsedriven.com/?site=GalCiv2 to get game updates. I was also going to point you at SDC, but I can't find a link for that anymore.

I have installed that now but it seems my account has expired though I am still logged on to this site. Not even the new serialnumer could be updated. Get an error. Perhaps I have to contact support in someway.
