Cursor reverts to Windows default over Screen Mask

I've mentioned this before but thought it worthy of revisiting.

On XPP SP2, the CFX cursors revert to the Windows default cursors whenever hovered over a masked area of the screen, such as the dimmed area around the Shutdown/Logoff dialog or the greyed/blurred area around the Please Wait dialog when changing skins.  When you move the mouse directly over either of the dialogs, the CFX cursors re-appear.

CursorXP, which I still having running on one of my XPP SP2 rigs, does not exhibit this behavior.  Not being a dev, I find few "new" features in CFX as opposed to CXP, apart from the UI and "dynamic" light source, so it's puzzling to me how/why this behavior got introduced into CFX.

If this behavior is not being seen elsewhere, I'd be interested to hear about it before submitting a support ticket.

Daiwa we all maybe having the problem and don't know it.

I know I don't go looking for these problems as a lot of others do. If I'm changing skins I usually don't do other things on the desktop at the same time, like moving the cursor aroung.  ;)

I've been told I'm...... different before, Philly, but I first noticed this on the Please Wait screen where your mouse is generally left on the screen somewhere outside that dialog (no moving required ;) ) and the cursor change sort of jumps out at you. Mind you, it's hardly a critical issue, but most of us skinners are a bit OCD or at least highly successful nitpickers. Just seems odd that on the same OS this is broken in an "upgraded" app. That's been something of a pattern with many of SD's apps, I'm afraid. Much as I love 'em, backward compatibility is not one of their strong suits.
