Graphic problem

Hi,

Have been playing perfectly with full graphic settings but I've started a new game today and the settings appear to have been turned down, i.e. planets and ships are just icons rather than the full graphical object.

I've checked the video options, but non one the disable this or that feature are checked.

Any ideas??
