New icon thingy in upper-right corner of folder windows

Hi; new to WindowBlinds.  I downloaded the program and it looks great, but now in all my folder windows I get a triangular-shaped icon thingy in the upper-right corner of the folder window, just under the minimize-maximize-close buttons.

What is it, and how can I get rid of it?

It's called a throbber, it doesn't do anything and won't cause any harm (default Windows has one too, just the Windows flag).

You can get rid of it with this. Download it, unzip it, copy the ShellThrobOff.reg to your desktop, close any open Windows Explorer windows, and run it. Afterwards you may have to reset your toolbars in explorer, but it will work fine (I use it myself).

Now who in their right mind would get rid of a perfectly good throbber??? ;p

Wait 'til Bichur reads this... given all the hassle he had with his broken one, he's gonna be spitting chips.

Thank you.

By the way, there seem to be literally hundreds of themes for WindowBlinds. Which are most popular? Is there a rating or ranking listed somewhere?

I would assume a lot of people use the program to make XP look like Vista, but maybe there are much cooler themes out there.

You can sort them by date, downloads, etc by setting the filter on the gallery page."Sort by.."just above the first thumbnail. :D

I've actually compiled a rather large list of skins I would recommend.

Sad, isn't it... that the fate of the poor old throbber has come down to a solitary click of a button... one click *poof*, and there it is, gone ((but then again, one solitary thought of my ex-wife has the same effect))!! ;p

Yup, we sure are an incorrigible bunch orright. ;p

Oh, and I wouldn't swear (cuss in Oz-speak if I were you... well not too audibly! Back in my more rebellious days I got charged with swearing, and when I muttered a couple more expletives in disgust over the $200 fine, the judge ordered my mouth washed out with soap n' water as well. ;p
