Just trying to get a skin to work...ugh

Hi, this is the first time I've ever tried to use Windowblinds. I got the skin I want downloaded, I paid for the program, I see the skin in the program. I click on it to apply it, it looks like it's going to work but every skin I download just turns my windows and taskbar white in the old MS style (boxy and plain). I've tried 2 diff skins that I downloaded and both do the same thing. The skins that WB provide work for the most part, but on some my taskbar disappears. Is there something else I need to download? I have Vista Home Basic...is that the problem? Thanks in advance from the noob :o)

Which skins are you trying to apply?

Click on the system info tab in Windowblinds and copy and paste all the info here and we'll take a look to see if there are any issues :)

Here's the stuff from the system tab....but I did the old trusty PC reboot and everything is working fine so far.

I am having the same problem, with the exception I have XP Professional. None of my skins work at all. Every time I try to apply a skin, it applies the old MS style skin. I have tried every skin that came with WindowBlinds 6.2. Nothing works. :(

Some of your file dates appear to be a combination of several releases of WindowBlinds and could be causing the issues you are experiencing. Could you try uninstalling WindowBlinds, rebooting and then reinstalling WindowBlinds and rebooting again.

Post your System Info again after completing the reinstall.

Are you using Impulse to install WindowBlinds?

I got it to work properly. I had 2 folders for WindowBlinds, deleted one. And then installed WindowBlinds again.
