Keys typed on secondary react differently than on Primary
I use Multiplicity for two-boxing World of Warcraft. When I am controlling my primary screen a key press responds as it should, however, the secondary screen handles my keypress differently. The best way to describe it is within the game.
On the primary screen, I press 'd' to turn right. As soon as I let go of the 'd' key, the character will stop immediately. I can fine tune my turning by tapping very quickly and the character will responde the same.
When I perform this on the scondary screen, my character turns in a tank torrent affect. It is almost like a predetermined amount regardless of how I press the button. If I were to tap the button to expect a 5 degree turn, it will go 45 degrees. If I press it a little longer to give about 25 degrees, it will still do around 45 degrees. It's like the keypress code only understands increments of 10 - 20 - 30 ect... not as fine as it is on the primary screen (1 - 2 -3 etc..)
Mouse handling is working as expected without any issues at all. This issue affected me in Vista Ultimate as well as XP Pro (which I currently downgraded back to at this time). My primary is running Vista Ultimate and is not exhibiting any of this behavior.
On top of running Multiplicity, I also have a ioGear KVM switch connecting these hosts so I can have direct access to the host if needed. I have tested this out with and without the KVM connected so I have ruled out that hardware as the cause.
Any suggestions would be great. It's not a deal breaker, but it would make my user experience on the secondary screen a more enjoyable one. Let me know if there are any details that you need that may help in dealing with this issue. I reviewed the settings and do not see anything that may help me so I can only hope a future update may.
Thanks!
