broken cd options?

Hi all,

I read an article in Game Informer that I read about the game before I bought it a few months back.  I seem to remember the article saying that Stardock was trying to reward legitmate customers.  One of the ways they were trying to reward them was to make the game available for download for those that purchased the game, in case cd breaks and the hard drive gets wiped or a computer is replaced.  Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Yes, it's definitely possible. It requires you to register your cd-key with either Stardock Central, or Impulse (which will soon replace the very old SDC). Both of them are strictly digital delivery programs, so once you download the game it's completely independent of either (unlike Steam games, for example). There are also no download limits :)
