You are absolutely right no one can deny this but remember you do not have to participate in creating more of it. Do what you can diplomatically to not tolerate this behavior in your presense. This shows your character is strong and this is not tolerated only the ignorant will have an issue with one taking such a stand. These individuals are people that shouldn't effect you anyway for they continue the ugliness.

What you give in the long run is what you will receive in the long run.
