The info will say Trial if it is that, Philly ;)

Westnine9, some of your dates are wrong for that version, this one:

Wbsrv.dll 2008/06/02 06:05:10

in particular. That is today's date.  :SURPRISED:

You might try uninstalling the version you have and re-installing from SDC or Impulse

I have no idea what those files and dates mean but I'll uninstall and reinstall and see if anything changes.
-Thanks

May be a good idea to uninstall this version and reboot. Run a scanning program to ensure nothing was left behind and then either install the 'trial' version or purchase WindowBlinds.

I am having the exact same problem, started a few days ago. Only the Windows Classic look will apply, but it is using the selected skins colors. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail. As a matter of fact, most of my software from Stardock (OD Subscription) is messing up, WB, IconPackager locks up PC when applying, etc. I am about to give up.

I am running Windows XP MCE with SP2 installed and all other updates to date.

Lightstar: are you using Impulse or SDC to install your programs? Right now it seems that people have much less problems with their programs if they use Impulse to install/update instead of SDC.

yep i totally agree with aufisch,...I had the same problems myself, installing with impusle fixed everything........

had the same problem, you may need to get a patch from support to uninstall completely, delete wb everywhere you have it,then reinstall it should ask you to activate if done correctly, should work after that, if what the others have suggested do not workthat is by using impulse instead of sdc.

Lightstar : I believe the initial posters issues are different from yours.

If you apply a theme and reboot, does the theme show up on reboot?

I can't apply a couple of skins, they show up in my skin list, so I don't know what is up, I have all the latest updates. Vienna Rapture is one. Ticks me off, because that is one righteous skin!

No, it does not Neil, it stays at with the Windows Classic look. I did resolve the problem though for now. I had to uninstall everything, and I mean everything that comes from Stardock on my system, I then had to delete leftover directories that the uninstall process did not remove. The then scrubbed and cleaned the registry several times until no problems at all appeared and then installed Impulse and installed everything back onto my system.
