Impulse(non widescreen) Dream

Yesterday I downloaded the Impulse dream. Out of 21 dreams I have ,it is the only one with a 1/2 wide white bar across the top of my monitor. It looks and runs great, just the bar. Anybody else seeing this? 17" crt IBM monitor@1024x768 res.

I think Grapes got lost.

Sorry can't help with this problem as I'm still on XP and unfortunately the only dream we are allowed so far is to someday(soon) be able to use dreams on XP ;)

WOW, I just had the weirdest thing happen. I'm sorry Zak, I couldn't find it?!?!? Don't even ask me why.....these things happen once I start adding 3rd party software onto my system. I just got this machine so I've been downloading a bunch of stuff, stuff MS really stinks at making. This always friggin' happens to me and then I spend hours trying to fix it!!!!! Anywho, I'll try it again later on...... Good luck to ya,
Jay

The first Impulse dream posted was not in Widescreen format. It was intended for the regular squarish screen set up with no stretching. I intended to put up both dreams right away but the widescreen had to go up a day later due to a rendering issue. That format can be downloaded from here: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=1130&libid=50

Let me know if you still have troubles after that.

Zoomba was kind enough to do an admin fix today to link the two together in the descriptions to avoid the confusion.

I also didn't explain the reason for the two types fully. Most dreams are rendered in a widescreen resolution format. The general rule is that squishing looks better than squashing. This works unless your main element is a perfect sphere. In that circumstance no matter what you can see the distortion.
