Desktop Sidebar is very different .. and free ...

There are over 500 skins available ...and many , many plugins and additions

I have made over 100 skins ...

I have used it on my XP a while back. It was a awesome Program.

Come to think of it, Wincustomize should think about adding a spot for them.  

I love Desktop Sidebar....it would be awesome if we had a library for skins for it! The sidebar is highly customizable...you can autohide it, you can make it as transparent as you want, is very easy to edit, and you can put all kinds of things in it!

I vote for a library for it!

An effort was made to try and get the Desktop Sidebar folks to agree to uploading their skins here.

In fact I believe I was one of several along with Mike to ask Zoomba if that could be done. To my knowledge the folks from Desktop Sidebar never contacted Zoomba back after several attempts. If I am wrong someone will correct me.

I use the sidebar also and along with everything else that Mike said, it's easy to make minor adjustments like fonts and font colors. There is even a roll up funtion for the plugins.

If you haven't tried it yet give it a look.  

It's a super program. I like the fact that you can integrate Motherboard Monitor 5 and get a CPU temperature readout, which is something I miss in Sysmetrix. It would be great to get something worked out a WC for DSB skins.

If there is an issue with having a DS page here, maybe the only other way to go ~ and then It would be a shame, I suppose , would be having the ability to post them up on a personal page ... I don't have a full one yet .. as I might have to change my nick ...

Mike, I have been using the sidebar for years! I would LOVE to have you make sidebars for my skins! I usually use the Real XP Silver sidebar...it is neutral. I haven't really tried to make my own sidebars yet....I have gotten requests for sidebars to match my blinds...so you making them would be awesome!   

hehe ... well give me a little time to finish off current projects (won't be long ! )

I vote as well to have Desktop Sidebar hear as well. We did it for Xion, it's only fair to do it for this great app as well.  

Keep plugging a way Mike and you will get there in the end. Would be nice to have a Stardock gallery for it.
