Hey, remember that poll about whether or not you ever listened to the PowerUser.TV or Under The Skin?  Well, that was a bit of a prelude to a project Island Dog and I have been working on.  After some technical glitches, a lot of slip-ups and other complications we're finally ready to unveil the WinCustomize Skincast!

Where PU.TV was a longer podcast that covered a lot of topics, and UTS was a very infrequent podcast that came up with a new episode every few months, SkinCast aims to be a short, weekly podcast covering misc topics from the skinning community. 

Today, I bring you our first episode.  Remember this is our first podcast so please excuse our flubs, stutters, or other audio issues, we're still learning the ropes here.  Please leave any feedback you have on our first effort on the comments below.

im confused... i never would have believed that Zoomba actually did some real work :LOL:

Awesome podcast guys, but im one of those kinda guys that are not too familiar with the other products from Stardock other then the gaming side.
Also im not much of a install this and that, so to convince me to see some of the stuff you guys are talking about maybe you guys could do the voice stuff as you do now, and after you recorded it, add voice to some sorta of video/slideshow that shows some of the stuff you guys are talking about.

Anyway, good job and ill be listening to the next one too :D

staff introduction
Take us around the office and introduce us to some of the staff and let us in on what they do and how it coordinates with the effort as a whole,. we all know the nicks but don't all know what they do.
I would even consider doing the "out of office" staff, you know , some of the mods and such that contribute in some way but aren't actually in house

I'm no big fan of podcasts, but that was actually very good! You guys have great personalities and work well together. :CONGRAT:  I think it's great that you guys highlighted some of the great skinners in the community and perhaps that's where the focus should continue to be. The links in the article were a nice touch; I had a chance to check out all their sites/profiles etc. I'm looking forward to the next one.

We just passed the 200th download (listener).  Not too bad for a first effort.  Lets see what the numbers come in at in the morning.

Well besides being mentioned in a podcast for the first time,I enjoyed putting voices to nicks(and names to the nicks) ;) ...the intro tune was very cool. Looking forward to seeing who you pick on next.(beefcake,beefcake!)(SouthPark reference) ;)  :LOL: I was in good company to be sure. :)

Great podcast! Can you have it in another format along with the usual mp3? (Some of us aren't allowed to download .mp3 files at places like school or at work...) Also, the 30-minute length is perfect! Any shorter, and it would be too quick. Any longer, and it would then get pretty boring. Maybe 1-2 times a week... We also neeed to hear about more than just wallpapers and WindowBlinds. How about some of the lesser-talked-about things, like DesktopX widgets, SoundPackager packs, Firefox & Maxathon skins, ect. ---------- P.S. Where did you get that awesome rock & roll intro? Did you guys make it yourselves?
