Released? Or not released?

I really dont get this, I see posts saying that people have gotten Sins of a Solar Empire in january, but is this the full retail version? I dont understand, here in Australia the release date for this game is 26th of April, why in gods name are we so late to get it? Or is everyone just talking about beta's... please explain!

It was released in North America and online back in the first week of February. As to the Aus delay, that's a question for Auran.

Stardock has to negotiate with out of country publishers, so in the case of Australia, that's when Auran decided to release it :P The game has actually been out in the US since February 4th.

so I ordered it online... does the box come with a cd to install it? god I hope so... because right now im stuck on a crappy internet connection till sometime in the 20's of April, so my download goes at a whopping 5kb/s!
