wormholes

Now I have read on the subject of how to place wormholes so that you can use them when you create your own maps.
To this extent I still have issues with it. I am unable to use wormholes when I have made maps (this is even after I research the tech) Wen I am making my maps and i try to place a phase lane between wormholes of two different solar systems I am unable to unless I use two of the same planets form the same solar system. At which point my scouts will only use the phase lanes not the the wormholes. It is totaly annoying at best. I love the game just going crazy working the wormholes.

galaxy forge won't allow you to make any sort of inter-star system connections, but you can make wormhole connections within a star system and then edit the file in notepad. To make a wormhole lane, click on the phase line from that wormhole to the other wormhole and select the "phase line" bit in the menu, a drop down should appear saying phase line and wormhole, select wormhole. naming your wormholes specifically will make it alot easier in the text file where you simply have to replace the current target name with the wormhole name in another star system.
