Widget problems

Everytime I load a widget it is either not displaying properly or not functioning at all, this is with all the widgets. Objects load ok and thare seems to be no problem with them, but still I uninstalled DesktopX and reinstalled and same problem.

By not dispalying properly I mean green bars all over the widgets, the widgets that do display properly the applications related to them do not activate at all, in short they don't work, is it software related or hardware, I'm stumped, can anybody help me with this.

P.S.  I run a Asus 7900 GTI graphics card , Dualcore processor, and 4 gig of ram

Did you try deleting the widget or gadget cache?
Sorry Almonty do you mean the actual folder where widgets are stored
Reply #12 Top
Or try the latest update 3.50.059. I just updated and everything is working.
No when you clear the cache, delete everything in the folder. Try the new update first.

I am running XP SP2 and the fix did work for me, but I had already reformatted my PC because of it...lol. Did you put the .dll file in your plugins folder in stardock central directory? Replace the old one. Worked for me.
