Map with 1 AI per star?

Hey all, i have been doing a lot of searching and can't find any maps that make it so you can have one player spawn point per star. I dig the epic battles and want a whole star to myself before the "**** hits the fan". I would prefer a really big map. I know it would take forever and I am ok with that.

I looked into the map creation stuff and it confused me.

Any help would be... helpful.

yeah i am fiddling with it. i guess i gotta throw a bit more time into it. I am totally lost to it.

Would that Home planet option mean spawn point? so if i said 6 stars, with 1 home planet each, 6 players... i would get the desired map?

Doppleganger is a medium 4-player map with one ai and one pirate per star. Each star has 5 planets including home and a choke point.

Ok i took a crack at it today. I set 4 stars, each containing 4 planet groups. For example they all had 1 terran home and 3 random ice or volcano. i made them identical. The map still calls for 7 players and just forces a second player in 3 of the star systems.

I generally make one player system in the map designer and save it. Then open it in notepad, little cut and paste and change the number of stars manually.

disregard. i figured it out! if anyone wants it i can upload it although i am guessing its gunna be a very long game hah
