Need help - Can't uninstall

Hey, I just purchased the Ultimate edition of Galciv II but I'm having trouble uninstalling my old second hand version.

The game doesn't seem to have an uninstall option, and I've tried using the add/remove feature through the windows control panel. All it said was something along the lines of 'file not found, cannot uninstall' and then asked me if I would like to remove it from the add/remove list.

I've just noticed that Stardock central will let me uninstall one version of the game, but I don't know whether it's the old one or the new one. Can anybody help?

If you already installed the new one, it would have replaced the registry entries of the old one... so the new one is the one that will go if you try to uninstall now. In that case, just delete the old one's folder (if it hasn't been completely overwritten to begin with).

Thanks, I suspected as much with some more fiddling.

I think the new stuff did overwrite the old stuff, luckily.
