Starfield Seam

In Sins I get a weird seam in the starfield whenever I play. I'm using Vista 32-bit, X1600 256mb, Intel E4300, 2GB ram. Any idea what could cause this?

That sucks. Looks like you found a space ripple.
Have you altered SkyboxBackdrop2.dds or starfield.dds?
Do you get this every time you play?
Do you see this seam when you start in windows mode (See Options menu or CTRL+SHIFT+TAB)

I haven't altered any game files. It happens on skybox 2 and one of the red ones everytime both in menu and in game. The seam still appears when starting in windowed mode.

Looks like a driver problem to me, actually.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Sins and the ATI drivers (8.3). No luck. However it seems to be a vista-specific problem. I have a XP dual boot so I switched into that and ran the same exact copy of Sins and there was no seam. Same Graphics Driver version 8.3 Thanks for trying to help.
