Not Able to Vote on Polls

I already posted a reply to the Standard Vs. Widescreen poll about this problem, and somebody else seemed to have the same problem, but I thought it wouldn't get much attention unless I brought it here.

So, my problem is that I can't vote on any polls here on WinCustomize. I tried before on the Desktop Vs. Laptop poll, and I just tried on the Standard Vs. Widescreen poll, but it doesn't seem to work (after I cast my vote, the "Total Votes" doesn't increase). I was wondering if I needed to subscribe to WinCustomize in order to get this feature, although I looked at the page describing the different levels of users, and it seemed like my level - level 4 - is sufficient.

Would this be a problem on my end or on the WinCustomize website? And how would I fix it?

Thanks,
Electo

We need additional information to troubleshoot the issue.

  1. Browser & version number
  2. OS (Version, service pack etc)
  3. Toolbars or addons running
  4. Antivirus, anti-spyware, anti-anything running
  5. Do you allow javascript to run?

Sorry, here's my information:

1. Firefox, Version 2.0.0.12
2. Windows XP Professional, SP2
3. Toolbars: Only Windows taskbar, system tray. Addons: All Stardock customization software for XP except ObjectDock, ObjectBar, Virtual Desktops, WindowFX, and Keyboard Launchpad. Latest stable versions for all, except DesktopX 3.49f[rc].017 (beta might be unstable).
4. Norton AntiVirus 2007
5. Yes, I allow Firefox to run JavaScript.

I'm not sure if I understand what you mean by #3 as far as "addons."

I think he meant toolbars and addons to your browser.

Oh, thanks Bebi Bulma.

In that case, I have no extra toolbars other than the navigation and bookmarks toolbars for Firefox, which is the browser I always use. My addons are: DOM Inspector, Mouse Gestures, Skype extension, and YoYo Games InstantPlay. (Skype extension installs automatically with Skype and the YoYo Games extension is at yoyogames.com... ;p. Just in case you need to test them out yourself). If it would be relevant, I use the default Firefox skin.

Hopefully that's what you wanted, and that makes a lot more sense anyway. :D

My problem still hasn't been fixed yet... I just tried to vote on the most recent poll, "Changing Skins," but it didn't work. Maybe the Total Votes number on the webpage only refreshes on an interval?

Still, after voting I don't get a page confirming that my vote was successfully submitted like I would expect from a poll, which makes me wonder if it is working or not. If anyone could help, it would be appreciated.
