All the trouble just to update my game

I love Stardocks games. But boy, I have to comment. I can't believe all the trouble I had to go through just to find out if there are any patches for my recently purchased game, GCII.

Signing up, having to download and being forced to add an application I am not sure I want on my system. It is going to take me more than a half an hour just to find out if there is even a patch out there. Not impressed...

But . . once you have SDC installed you can use it to archive, restore, update (or not).  You can use it to access these forums or join IRC to chat with tech support or the devs.

You can also check for other games you might want to demo.

It really is a great little app (that you only run when you want to).

If you have any troubles with the downloading software you can let us know here or at [email protected]. Stardock Central is just a utility tool for you. No ads or spyware included. We are gamers too and we know what makes gamers annoyed.

Please also check out Dark Avatar and the unreleased Twlight of the Arnor expansion that are also available through Stardock Central. I'm not in sales mind you I am actually suggesting it because it is fun. Ask anyone here.
