Small quibble - discovery of high tech ship event

Regarding this alignment event, it does not seem to me to indicate less than good alignment to request as much info as possible on the ship's technology.

Perhaps it is a matter of temporarily detaining and/or pressuring the crew, as opposed to the evil alignment stealing the ship?
