Quick camera question

Hi, just got the game and I'm enjoying it alot, but since I did digital download I don't have the manual and I was wondering if there is anyway to "lock on" to a ship with the camera and follow it around to get a more cinematic view of the battle. I have the zoom and rotation camera down, but in...I think it was homeworld....you could lock onto a ship and the camera would kind of just follow around behind it. So if there is a similar function in here I was hoping someone could tip me off on how to do it. Thanks!

Ctrl + left click on item or ship. Or double select the ship or item.

Note that by default the game zooms to pointer - you can change zoom to be only on the selected ship or object in the options.

Spacebar should also work

There are also 3 quick-zoom keys for various zoom levels (Z,X,C) that you can use.
