Desktop Issues All Icons moved

Is there anyway to keep it from pushing around the icons on my Desktop. All the Icons get sqenched into the left half of the screen?

Is the game crashing? That's not uncommon if you run any game at a different resolution than your desktop and it doesn't exit cleanly. Otherwise windows should preserve the icon positions through the resolution changes.
