Problems submitting to the Metaverse - anyone else having the same issue?

Just finished a game, and cannot submit to the Metaverse. Any problems that anyone is aware of?

Cheers,

John.

I'm currently running 1.03A.57 and have been trying to submit about 3 games over the past week. I have not been successful, nor have I ever submitted a game successfully :notsure:

Two main threads on this issue that I see. This one and

The issue is a bit clouded because we've got lots of people chiming in that have never been able to submit a score at all. Other issues.

Still, there are obviously lots of us that are just recently not getting submissions to register with Metaverse.

Has anyone had a successful submission since around mid-day 5/5?

My last succesful submittion was the evening of May 4th.

My last success was May 2, but a weird thing happened. The game I tried to submit yesterday and then a few minutes ago wouldn't take (just like a lot of other folks), but the date on my last success was changed to 5/5! The game parameters are still identical to how they were a few days ago, just that the date on the game was reset. Strange.

Anyway, this Metaverse submission thing needs to be refined a bit. I quickly figured out a couple of weeks ago that I needed an active internet connection (I have dialup) at the end of a game, ok, that was a little annoying but easy. Before, I figured that if the program needed internet access it would log me in automatically to get it. Then once on the submission screen, I figured that I would get some kind of confirmation message or something to tell me that the game did indeed get logged. Wrong again. No success code, no failure code either! That got even more annoying, but I checked four times before and the first four games did indeed take. Now I try to submit #5 for my ace, and the other annoyances are quickly being compounded when the need to verify the entry results in failed entries and the date glitch I described earlier. Grrr. Please, fix the system a bit! >:(

In addition to registering with Stardock for Metaverse acess, you must also Register your Player with Metaverse. You will see that option toward the top of the metaverse home page. It says "Register your Player to include your scores in the Galactic Metaverse. After you do that then replay your last game from the last save and when you submit it, all your games played will be submitted.

Hello to DeafHawk fello New Texas Repuyblic team mate! :D After reading what you posted I'm thinking it may be more of a problem than just not being registered. How do you re-submit a game that didn't get accepted without replaying it from the last save?

That's exactly what you do,or last AutoSave if it's more recent than your last save.

Or at least, that's what I do. Of course it's pretty easy to know when the game will end (to save it) if you're winning Beyond Human, on Military Conquest.

Culturally is a little fuzzier.

Uhm, most of the posts on this thread have those neat little symbols at the bottom, thus we've registered.

Speaking of, just for kicks I reregistered my serial number with the same name, and it gave me a success message. Why would it allow this? It should say this name is already registered, especially since it's matched to a serial number. Seems like trouble to me...
