As we've worked on updating the look and feel of the forums, we realized it was finally time for some new emoticons/smileys.  Our previous set, designed by CerebroJD had served us well for many years, but it was time to look to the future for something new.  Since we have a community of incredibly talented visual artists, I turned to you seeking a new smiley set.

While it got off to a slow start, you pulled together some terrific smiley sets.  Here's what we had to choose from:

After a good bit of deliberation this morning and talking it over with andrew_, I've selected the DIGI*CONS smiley set by Digital*CHET & BebiBulma

It wasn't an easy decision as all five sets are just outstanding.  While we can't guarantee anything, we're trying to come up with a way to use all of the submitted smileys somehow.  It'd just be a shame to let them go to waste.

Congrats to Chet & Bebi on their winning entry.  They'll be seeing their work on the site for years to come.
