Themes Doesnt Work

from WinCustomize Forums
Hey, I downloaded a few themes for my computer including White Flame and another few vista looking ones .

But when I click on apply the theme just automatically turns into Windows Classic.

Anyone help me solve it??

I did a quick search [here at WC] to try to find that 'white flame' you mentioned, but came up with nada.

Can you say where you got the files from, or provide a link/links to the files you are trying to apply? It'll help ;)

Are you using the trial version? Perhaps your 30 day trial period has ended, in which it will no longer apply themes and switches to the default theme.

Open up the windowblinds config, system information, copy everything there and paste it here.

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.5 (build 92 x86))

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC

WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC

Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

Umm, the problem is it's not only White Flame that isn't working.

All of the good Vista looking themes, are not working.

But some that doesn't look very like Vista works perfectly.

Just wondaring what themes do you guys use so I can try it out too

some of your files seem off and ver92 wasn't the latest for 5

see if you can update to (5.5 (build 94 x86))

either via SDC or by entering your email at the Support Page

what OS are you running?

But once I had all the themes working then after I changed the theme and later when i tried to have it again it wont work no more

try updating using Stardock Central or the support page

Sigh....you will need to uninstall that version, purchase the program, and then install it with the proper serial you receive from Stardock and use Stardock Central.

then have fun when your computer gets trashed with the trojans and viruses that undoubtedly came with the "crack"

Using Stardock software (or any really) without a valid license is not allowed and those that do so are not welcome on Wincustomize

There is a zero tolerance for warez use of Stardock products.
