Artifacting (white dots) on objects :(

Hey everyone! I just got this game a few days ago and finally had the time to try it out today. It is a bit overwhelming at first but it looks like a game that I will really enjoy playing.

Now my problem is that the objects and ships have small dots that appear and dissapear randomly. I have never gotten any artifacts in previous games that I have played. It is really annoying :/

Q6600 @ 3ghz

2gigs DDR2 ram @ 800mhz

BFG 8800GT factory OC

X-FI extreme gamer

That is a basic rundown of my rig. Is this an 8800 problem or a problem with the game? I shouldn't artifact for no reason especially since I haven't touched BFG's factory clocks. This is the first game I have artifacted in.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)

From what I remember (I haven't seen this one asked for a while), it's an AntiAliasing issue with Nvidia.. so yeah, it would be your 8800GT.

Try turning off AA to see if that's actually the issue, because I'm going from memory. I'm also unsure if there was a fix, unfortunately.

No, no that is okay. Thanks for the reply. I will try that out in a bit. I'll even try turning it on from the control panel. Unfortunately Nvidia doesn't have a seperate Sins column so I will have to do it globally.

Hopefully Nvidia is working on this =.= No matter how much I love being a PC gamer I can't stand stuff like this :/ Oh wells.

Alright so I turned off AA and the artifacting was gone.

Any word from Ironclad on this? I am sure many people that have this problem would love to have it fixed.
