But it says I still have 8 days left on my trial!?
Why did multiplicity stop working?
Ok, so I been using Multiplicty for a few days and Im liking it. It's not perfect as I still have to use both mice when I boot up my systems and it's not flawless as I have occasionally expirenced activity like a key is stuck and my emails come out with "HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHi how ya doin" kinda thing I usually manage to catch and fix it. So im thinking to myself, it's a lil buggy but heck it's trial software, so when I do buy it im sure these lil glitches will be eliminated.
I had pretty much decided I was going to save up to purchase the program and get the pro version since I have 3 computers (2 XP SP2 Desktops and 1 Vista Home Premium Laptop)
Yesterday morning after bootup I moved my cursor from the primary desktop to the secondary desktop I saw my little notice flash, yet when I glanced at the 2ond system the cursor was not moving! I then proceeded to try to move the mouse and put the cursor back on the primary but I couldn't do that either! only a hard shutdown "fixed" the mouse (cursor) and unless I unloaded Multiplicity, even the slightest touch over toward the left side of the screen (you know, where windows start button is located) and my primary would "lock up" again and force a reboot.
Keep in mind the ONLY things I have changed is that 1 it shows me when/which computer is "active" and 2 it doesn't start when windows starts (sometimes I want to use my primary with the second desktop as secondary. Sometimes with the laptop as secondary so I been swapping those out) I do use Teamspeak (been using voice activated with a bluetooth headset on the Vista system. I do have (2) G15 Keyboards and I do play EQ 2. Also on the vista machine I use the speech recognition, when not in Teamspeak.
Im not sure what other info to add except this: I do like computers I am pretty darn familiar with alot of how they run and work etc but I have NO clue about programming or setting up networks, what have you. I do know I have a wireless router the secondary XP system is hardwired to it and the rest of the comps have network cards. both mice (actually trackballs) are hardwired as well as both keyboards (1 of each to each system) the vista system has a built in mouse(glidepad)
Thats about it, if you need any other info ask and I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge.
