Confused!

Hello, this is hard to explain. Randomly the game decides to stop responding. Usally, after I hit the Turn button then it stops dead. Happens when I get far into the game. Now, I know it's not my system that's an issue well I mean Graphically etc shouldn't be but I do have a Quad core. I've noticed alot of people talking about Dual Cores. Just need help. IF anyone could help me with this issue. Please do! I have to close the game go back in. Load and try to see what might have locked it up last time :S lol

I play lots on a dual core, and some on my old single-cpu desktop, and it happens occasionally on both.

What usually works for me is to click the Find button. The game sometimes hangs on one of the player's ships that has moves remaining. Do something with the highlighted vessel (move it, set it to Guard, etc.), and the game should take over again from there.

This doesn't work for everyone, but give it a try next time your game freezes.

I have ran in to this a few times

sometimes it is hard to find the right ship when you have hundreds of ship but each time I found the right ship the game continued !!

Ha someone else with this problem. It happens to me on a regular basis and clicking find doesn't help it just freezes up solid Though I can move the cursor around but clicking on anything or dragging the map doesn't do anything..I can hit the window button and then restore once i'm back to desk top screen and sometimes that works. but most of the time I have to restart the game. seems like it gets hung up on the info screens. tried different graphic settings all to no avail.I'm Running it on an Alienware ALX with 2 7900 256 mb cards. And tried driver upgrades. windows says mine are the latest drivers. Love the game but this is frustrating to no end. HELP!!!!! Also

I've had this problem before, the game stops auto finding ships and the turn will not end. I find by simply saving my game and then restarting GCII it works again and it will go directly to the last ship
