Moonlight theme problems

Did you leave a note on teh skin?  he'll be notified if you do.

mrnebb01 whenever you run into a problem like you have, the best course of action is to either leave a comment on the skin page in the library or PM the skinner.

I can't think of any skinner that wouldn't want to help out a member of the community to be able to run their skin.

It can be something very simple or you may have found a bug that the skinner didn't know about. Give it a try.   

are you trying to change in builder mode?

As Bichur states, this is probably causing your problem.

nothing wrong with posting here. All they were saying is Gef would be best person to ask as it's his theme.

If you had given a bit more detail here sure you would have got the answer here straight away.

Been a while since played with desktopx but you have to be in builder mode to make changes not sure what you mean by email object that you want to drag in think I'm right in saying I just draged my desktop icon for thunderbird in to set that up in the theme.

If I'm wrong someone will correct me.

Thanx rick, tried it in builder too the icons just go behind the drop down menus in my theme. I've also been trying to change the name of the drop down menus but getting nowhere. I've been using object dock and rocket dock for ages now and just fancied something different on my puter and Gef's theme is really cool.

ok had a quick look at the theme is one had set up before

Drop down menu titles are set up as custom1.png (for the custom one) so you can't just type in yours you need to make a new .png you could do this by edit that one then saveAS then put your one in. That's how I would do it may not be the correct way.

Not sure why you have icon fault tried that just dragged onto menu ok.

All his are cool first one I did was Aero-XP (version 2) found that easy to change to my settings as a first one to try.

PS 404 error with Arsenal Logon is because still in mod so you can look but not have till it comes out of mod.

Rick thank you for your help, i was trying to move a mail object which i'd downloaded into the dropdowns, when i tried it with my own icons they worked. As for the .png bit i'm miffed how do i make a new .png? Say i wanted to change the graphics one, should i clone it first, and work on the clone?

Right can't find the png with search so yes I would clone it move it down the screen had to go into properties relation and change movement to default so I could move it then would do PrtScrn paste that then crop out the button then edit the text area to what I wanted then save it with my name as png then select mine instead of the one already there.

This may well be the long way round but only way I could do it.

With a bit of luck someone who knows how may pop along soon.

lol ok now ur goin all hi-tec on me i got lost about the change movement part.. I've cloned the icon and moved it down the screen a bit, but then i get lost, i thought i could just change the text or something. sorry for being such a noob



Gef told me i would need a graphics program to change it so now i'm really stuck lol.. Ah well, not to be outdone i'll leave it for now and play with it later when i get a bit more experienced, Thanx a lot Rick and keep up the very good work
