ObjectDock question

i have objectdock plus, and im enjoying it, im running vista, and i want to get rid of the start bar, and run object docks only... but im confused on one part. if you right click on the dock and choose dock properties, and then click on dock contents, there are 3 optopns, 1 "display my icons only" 2 "display open windows along with my icons" 3 "display system tray icons along with my icons".... now my question has to do with option number 3 "display system tray icons along with my icons" now by tray icons im thinking the icons in the lower right hand corner by the clock.... right? but when i select display system tray icons, and close, it doesnt display them... ? anyone, i would like to have it display those icons so i can get rid of the start bar, thanks guys

when you open ObjectDock Properties, click on the box beside 'Hide Windows Taskbar'

That should do it.

oh and if you're running plus you should be able to create tabs for the tray and tasks

when you right click on your tabbed dock , choose Tabs , then Add , then choose systemtray or taskbar dock

They seem to work on my Vista laptop fine.

Is the UAC on or off?
Are you using Vista Home Premium?
If you are - turn the UAC off! [ user account control - in user accounts via control panel ]
If there is still a problem - try this...
Uninstall after you have turned uac off and then reinstall while uac is off.
This is only if you are using Vista Home Premium.
If you are using Vista Ultimate - then in the administrative tools go to computer management and local users and groups. There go to users and open the administrator - enable the administrator account.
Logoff and login as administrator and do as with the uac off settings for a unistall and reinstall while in administrative accout.
Now it may or may not work in the user acount you have outside of the administrator without further settings.
Let me know which Version you have and will try to get you setup.

I don't think it's possible to make a folder of the system tray for stacks.
