Ctrl + N crashing in DL 1.5

I'm getting an odd bug where Ctrl+N'ing multiple times is crashing me to desktop in DL 1.5.  This isn't the test update that went up a few days ago, assuming there was one for DL-haven't checked for updates yet.

Error code is GALCIV2 - 0x64cdb4 and I've gotten it twice in quite literally the last 5 minutes-and it only took me that long because I'm doing other things concurrently.  I've submitted the first exception SmartException generated and I'm tempted to submit the second but I doubt it's much different and I don't know if it would help.

First time it took me I think four Ctrl+N's and the second time it happened on the third.

Is anyone else getting this?

Also, in case it isn't obvious, not an MV game, and no mods enabled.

When does it crash? Right after getting a ship made and launching it from a planet?

I had that problem a bit back with the TA beta. I found that once I had a map I liked, I'd save it and then restart galciv entirely. After that the game ran fine.

First turn, haven't made a ship, haven't launched a ship, nothing fancy. New game, no cheats. Nothing built, sliders not touched, nothing.

As for the rampant Ctrl+N'ing, I was tile searching to test something. I find I'm testing many things lately...so I guess I'm bound to find a bug here and there.

I'll be happy to test this with DA & TA in a moment-we'll see what happens.

Tiny galaxy, if that's at ALL relevant (done mostly to minimize loading time on a Ctrl+n'ed game, as a tiny loads quicker than, say, a gigantic). Oh, and no minors, just me and one major.

I'm thinking what's happening is the AI is getting assigned to a planet that I've previously been assigned to, or in the same spot, but to be honest I have no idea and I'm most likely wrong.

I occasionally get a CTD with a reported fault when using Ctrl-N in DA as well. It happens pretty rarely so I've never reported it.

Try using it 3-6 times in succession (in DL). You'll get it.

Do I need to Ctrl+N that much? No. Should I? Nah. Do I sometimes want to test exact values with specific tiles? Yes. Am I the only one? Maybe.

Just tested on a gigantic all abundant in DL and got it in 6 Ctrl+N's.

Doesn't happen within 20 even on Tiny in DA, two separate tests.

Debug from DL:

Debug Message: Galaxy Size Set: 18 x 18
Debug Message: Creating Random Map
Debug Message: Creating Random Map... Stars
Debug Message: Number of Unplaced Stars: 165.

Debug Message: Creating Random Map... Anomalies
Debug Message: Num Anomalies: 300
Debug Message: Creating Random Map... Resources
Debug Message: Creating Random Map... Done
Debug Message: Setting Game Options
Debug Message: Creating Civs

That's where it fails, where in the previous 5 Ctrl+N's in that session (which are also in the log) it goes on to set (starting from creating civs for easy reference, it doesn't actually show it twice):

Debug Message: Creating Civs
Debug Message: Drengin Empire: Intellence -> 50
Debug Message: Yor Collective: Intellence -> 50
Debug Message: Creating Civs... Done

Debug Message: Updating ZOC.
Debug Message: Galaxy Create... Done
Debug Message: UIBeginGame called with g_ulLocalPlayerID = 5
Debug Message: UIBeginGameHelper: New Game Started
Debug Message: UIBeginGameHelper: Mods are Disabled

Hopefully that will help someone track it down. I understand completely it might not be a high priority, as it's DL and Ctrl+N, but it's still annoying, as CTD's always are.

If it's relevant, I'm the Yor, so (apparently?) it's failing on the AI (Drengin in this case). Then again, it might be simultaneous and just displaying them in alphabetical order.

I did notice that it fails to place a number of planets, but in the previous 5 it failed to place them with no problem, so something tells me that's probably not it.
