Mouse Pointers and Background color help-Windows Vista
from
Stardock Forums
Hi everyone! I am new to the forum, but have had WindowBlinds for sometime now. I haven't had any problems until I bought a new laptop with Vista. I have two issues.
First is with the mouse pointers. I am just using the Classic (Vista) Yellow theme. I have my own cursors that I like to use and for some reason they don't stay after shutdown. When I start up my computer I have to go to Mouse Pointers and click ok. The correct pointers are listed there, but some reason I have to go through this process everytime I startup. Is this just a Vista thing? I have tried unclicking this option in WindowBlinds (If a skin has a replacement user icon then replace the current user icon with the skin supplied icon) but it doesn't allow me to.
The second issue is with the background color. I have changed the background color to black numerous times and everytime I start up my computer it is blue. I do this because my current wallpaper is smaller than my screen and I just match the background to the color of the wallpaper. Looks much better this way.
Neither of these were issues with my other laptop that had Windows XP on it. I just updated to WindowBlinds 6.1.
