Perfect fix for research info (too bad I cant mod it myself. :[)

ok so if I could figure out how to mod this myself i would have.
there is a ring around each planet that shows you info .

you see on the left your amount of fleet in orbit
on your right , the enemy
on bottom your overall development of the planet.

but  there is unused space on top of each planet for one more infobar
so i went ahead in paint (ROFL at my own newbness at modding , but anyhow)and i added A bar on top of a planet.
this bar can ,(and should I am hoping ) show you the amount of research stations of ,military (red bars) and civilian(yellow bars)  and that should make all of you happy if this were really implimented

now up in top right of your game screen you have your money, crystal, and metal,
so i went ahead and added a box that shows you your total research stations of both kinds .

also one more thing i want to show. see my ships over on the left , theres not a icon for each anymore just stacks of 10.
I have no clue , I think maybe lazysumo or that other ui mod did that. but man that is a real nice change instead of showing 30 ship icons I see 3 stacks of 10

so please let me know if anyone could really (not paint )do this kind of mod for the research thanks for readin.

by the way. thats Matsuda there my baby. It is in the middle of a busy crossroads. a real tactical gem on my 3 star 8 player map

I think there's already a built-in ship stacking button, Pmutzu, in the top left. It's to the right of the search, I think it looks like overlapping boxes.

I do, however, like your idea of the research stations listed in the top bar along with credits, ore and crystal. I think the research window used to tell you how many stations you had, but that was removed (or so I've heard). Would be handy.

Its not that hard to see how many you have if you just look at the shaded background on the military and civilian research trees. The amount of shading tells you how many you have. I guess its not as simple as just having a number, but the information IS there.
