Problem upgrading GalCiv using Stardock

Reposting from another thread, as the thread was poorly named, and thus perhaps someone who can help me wouldn't have read it.

I have installed GalCiv from CD on a Win2000 system. I've installed Stardock, installed the 1.02 patch and bonus pack.

When I go into Stardock to do the update to 1.03A it fails. During the downloading of galciv.ex_ the status goes nuts, going well past 100% before failing. When I do fail, this is what my log looks like:

...
Extract File: C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp\Base\Gfx\polpartylogos\Technologists_Small.pc_
Result: Success
Extract File: C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp\Base\Gfx\polpartylogos\WarParty_Large.pc_
Result: Success
Extract File: C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp\Base\Gfx\polpartylogos\WarParty_Small.pc_
Result: Success
Extract File: C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp\Base\Gfx\domestic.mt_
Result: Failed (deleted file)
Installation aborted (failed)

I only have this problem on my work machine, not on my home machine. Any ideas how I can fix this? I know the standalone patch will be out soon, but I'd like to fix Stardock so I can continue to use the mini-patches as they become available.

thanks

Hmmm, what version of Stardock Central are you using? Also, have you tried clicking on "Refresh Application Data" from the tools menu?

Stardock Central updated itself when started so I assume it's the latest version.

I did not try refreshing the Application Data so I'll try that today.

Tried refreshing Application Data but still the same problem.

Is it possible I have a corrupt temporary file? Is there a way to delete all temporary file and start the download from scratch?

To answer the earlier question

Stardock version: .99k.163 build 11

At least that's what I used today.

To delete the temporary files you can delete everything in C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp or just delete the file in question. But most likely the file file has already been deleted.

If you are still having problems please send me your entire log file along with the file: C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\data\public\gc1\production\gc1.xml

Also, do you have Show Beta's turned on? And what server are you attempting to download from, Atlanta or California?
