help on finding were to buy this game

I don't know the situation in Scotland, but you may wish to buy online at www.galciv.com 's website. In order to be able to buy in person, your computer/games store has to put the game on the shelf, or accept an order from you. I myself have bought online (actually bought GalCiv+Drengin), downloaded stuff, been playing furiously, and am going to get around to ordering the CD sometime if I don't burn a copy of my archives first.

You may wish to do the same.

I was in the same boat. I wanted the printed manual so I ordered from Stratgic Plus for £41.50 (inc. postage). It arrived the next day .

If you're not bothered about the printed manual (and, frankly, it's not that great anyway) then order direct for about £35.
