Request for X-Wing trilogy?

This is the one from Lucas that has all of the X-wing/Tie fighter type games. Been out of the retail loop for a few years, so they aren't making any money from it. I'm feeling Star Wars-y.

Not X-WIng, TIE Fighter defenetly. If only TIE Fighter missions were dynamic like starshatter, then you have the Ultimate Space Sim.

TIE fighter series was pretty good....i still have them here somewhere on disk....don't think they will work on XP :/

Heh, I still have the original collectors edition on CD at home. Back then seing a star destroyer at SVGA was a sight to behold.... Though at later campaigns, it became obvious that Missile Boats were seriously overpowered. 1 Missile Boat could take out any number of Capital Ships assuming resupplys were requested. If cap ships had Point Defence, then that would be a diffrent story though.

For what it is worth, you can get them to work on Windows XP. If you go to lucasfiles.com there is a xwtie95.zip file that you install. It works well, tried it myself a couple of days ago. As for obtaining the game I think either ebay or chips n bits (not sure the exact url) is your best bet.
