What are the precursers supposed to look like?

I'm a graphic artist putting together a couple of random event pics. Something tells me the precursers resembled humans.. Am I correct in this assumption? If not, what -do- they look like?

Humans. The reason that humans and Altairians look like they do is due to Precursor interference.

Actually while they all do look identical to humans, the Altarians weren't interfered with (much) by the Precursors. They were all messed with by the dark mithrilar, Draginol who happens to look human.
