Crash to Desktop

Since installing 1.02.x I have been having the occasional crash to desktop. I have adjusted the autosave to every two turns now, so it isn't a catastrophe, but it is getting a little annoying.

Am I the only one having this problem?

I just experienced a crash to desktop last night. Fortunately I had reset autosave to every turn just an hour or so before. But I am less than enthused to se such unstable software. Is this a big problem?

I just crashed again. The last two lines in debug.err are:

*DEBUG ERROR: *** Unable to locate font Verdana08Race12B, FTDataManager::FindFont ***
*DEBUG ERROR: *** Unable to locate font Verdana08Race12B, FTDataManager::FindFont ***

On a totaly unrealted note: Does anyone know where to change your GalCiv conference nickname?

Just to be contrary, I've had one CTD in 30-40 hours of gameplay so far. :)

I had only 1 CTD until the latest patches (.41-2) - since then I had so many crashes in one game that I kinda gave up until they fix it.

If you're having a lot of CTD's- maybe run Smartexception with GalCiv and then when it crashes you can submit the error log to StarDock. I know of one CTD cause they're looking into, possibly two.
