Can't Attack

Newbie needs to know how to start a war. I try to right click to intercept and attack an enemy but nothing happens.

Welcome to the "GAME" Johnus. The answer your looking for depends on several things. hat type of ship are you trying to attack with? Not all ships can attack. The Star Fighter is the first ship you can build with an attack value. The survey ship you start of with won't attack until you have hit a couple +attack annomolies. Could you be a little more specific so we can help more? Ask lots of questions and enjoy the game. Check out the Empires tab on the left of your screen. Lots of good info there too.
