Just bought ( downloading now ) this game after thinking for few weeks , will i like this game , maybe too late for that

Sure how do you want me, help you enjoy the game ?

I would advise you start with the intellegence of the AI turned low until you get the feel of the game.

Play a game as a warmonger, try to get a cultural win, try to get a alliance win, or even a technology win, try playing evil and try playing nice.

Have fun exploring and let nobody tell you how to enjoy the game.

The only thing I would add to the above comments is to post specific questions here (in this Forum) when you have them, and they'll get answered pretty quickly.

Also, I would reccommend that you visit the Empire thread. Joining an Empire will really add alot to your GalCiv experience! Enjoy the game.

Belonging to an Empire (Star Fleet) is one of the reasons I keep playing this game. I am addicted to this game like no other one in my life!

Darn terror stars are horribly slow to use with one space per turn but I agree at least one time use it and be sure to MAX out the Culture modules first. :D
