How can I tell which version I have?

I have downloaded 1.02, but I can't check if it is installed (does Stardock install it automatically?). How can I check the version number?

If you downloaded it through Stardock Central it should be automagically installed for you.
The version number should be listed beside the GalCiv logo and name in the software tab? In the "Installed" column.

Make sure you go to Tools --> Settings and check "Show Application Revisions".
