Help Camera error on loading

Ok,

First off, this game is a blast. However there's on thing that's driving me crazy. The camera is set to a top down view of the gravity well. When I load a saved game, the camera angle changes so that I am looking sideways to the planets/solar system, and hence cannot see 1/2 the gravity well! I cannot rotate the angle. I've tried both camera setting, and right clicking to rotate (which spins around, but not up/down) To make things worse, this does not happen on every saved game, only randomly. If there's a simple solution, like I do not know the controls, please let me know. Thanks

Sounds like the camera is simply not focused on any object at the start. If you doubleclick or ctrl-click on something you should focus the camera on it and be able to manipulate the view normally.

yeah I got this bug as well, can't get it to revert back to overhead view, stuck in the angled side view and nothing I do can get it to spin back to overhead view. Played with the various camera settings under options and nothing seems to change this.
