You must already have Vista Ultimate installed on your computer to be able to use the current free version of DeskScapes. DeskScapes 2.0 which is currently in Beta will work for all versions of Vista that support Aero, when it is released.

The only thing 'retarded' here is your question about a "free Vista 2.0", as no one was ever talking about a "Vista 2.0".

Windows Vista is an OS (Operating System) and is either pre-installed on your computer (instead of WindowsXP) or you have to buy it at your local computer store. There is no such thing as a free Windows Vista, and there is certainly no such thing as a version 2.0.

- If your computer is running WindowsXP you can't use .dream -files.

- If your computer is running Windows Vista Ultimate, you first have to download and install Dreamscene using the Windows update feature. After that you can download and install DeskScapes from the link Cavan gave you in #2.

- If your computer is running Windows Vista Home/Home Premium/Business, you have to wait until Stardock is releasing the free version of DeskSkapes 2.0, or you can purchase ObjectDesktop and download and install the beta now.WWW Link
