My life as Christian xD

This is my first time to blog. i felt bored, so i just want to tried it xD

Ok, let get start...

My life is just simple. Every monday to friday, i go to college (hishschool), everyone in my country thought that its a university but its not in UK. Saturday, is the day for rest or do my homework if i have one. Sunday! i love this day...i will go to Church to worship God and then go to youth group..thats my best time for the whole week. i always have fun during this time..Friends, Music, Games..etc. all the good stuffs that teens need =D

In my country..*i dont want to tell what is it..* my life there as christian is totally different and i dont know why and how stupid i am that i always feel lazy to go to Church. But now, i have lived in UK and God had changed me and He really loves me..I can feel it and now i always love to go to Church and worship Him and for this year 2008, i have a resolutions that i will always go to Church and have fun in youth group.

God have changed me and i always pray that He can change my parents as well :'( that they always busy and they dont have time to go to Church. I always cry about it and also that i have to go alone to Church..i always feel jealous that everyone always go there with their family. So i always and keep continue to pray for that. I even ask the Priest in the church to pray for me and everyone there.

Anyway, i'm happy that they're always there for me and always pray for me as well. Thanks uncles, aunties and all my friends there!! =D I love them so much and God bless them!!

My grammar is quite awful..sorry =D.. im still learning it now xD

Well, you got the difference between "they're" and "there" right, so I say "good job" on your progress!

It's about time another Christian came on this site.....

Keep praying for your parents. It's only God who opens eyes and ears.

first of all LW....again another misrepresentation!! Yet again.

I didn't say who or who were NOT Christians on this site. I was just saying glad to see ANOTHER Christian. Some of those you named I'm not so sure but I'm not saying one way or the other. Only God knows who are his anyhow.

Excuse me? What the hell do you think Tova is, a heathen?! She's the epitome of Christianity to me; she doesn't seem to feel your need to shove her faith in people's faces. There's also ParaTed, CedarBird, Locamama, SingrDave, and that's just the ones I can name off the top of my head!

Your statement was worded as if you feel yourself to be a loner here; the only Christian on JU. Perhaps you feel that nobody else is as Christian as you; that their brand of Christianity isn't real or isn't quite up to par?

You can deny it all you want and I expect that you will as usual a) say that I took your words out of context, b) that I'm harrassing you because of what you believe, and c) you'll ask what you ever did to me to make me want to come and bother you so.

Anybody would think you're the only christian here.....

Just because I don't like how the whole thing is run doesn't mean I'm not in the same camp. I buy into the basic theology...however, I have my issues with this and that. I practice daily what I think is the proper way to act...based on the moral system displayed in the Bible(save for the things that are archaic and hateful like stoning gays and all that). I do like to question things. Doesn't make me any less of a Christian...unless of course the entire Christian community thinks it does...then I guess I'm my own special brand of cult. I mean, I'm not a zealot, but I don't think I qualify as a Godless heathen just yet.

Loca, jesseledesma, Gene Nash,

Hey! Someone finally mentioned me! Thanks, LW!

Some of those you named I'm not so sure but I'm not saying one way or the other. Only God knows who are his anyhow.

Gee, write one article about how good the blood of virgins slain under a blue moon is for the skin and you're branded for life!

So you list a bunch of people who have been here for quite a while and say that 'about time another Christian showed up' is a bad thing to say? It has been a while since there was a new Christian around, afaik.

So what was your point?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Wow, first blog and you've already been introduced to the wonderful ongoing fight that is Joe User. Congratulations, and welcome to our world.

It's the whole "it's about time" thing that got her goat. See, the connotation of that phrase indicates that there are not enough Christians and she's glad to finally have a kindred spirit.

Ah, the written word. There's no way to perfectly express emotions, no matter how hard you try. That's why I like person to person contact, I can use facial expressions better than these!

Thank you Cedarbird. That's it exactly. You, may be young, but you've got wisdom some of your elders don't have.

One thing that we don't get enough around here is grace. We need to give each other more grace.

It doesn't matter WHAT I say LW is lurking in the shadows ready to pounce on me every single time. She's relentless. I wish she wouldn't LIKE me so much.

Hmmm, kind of oxymoronic, ain't it? ;~D
'Proud Christian' is an oxymoron because Christians, by definition, are supposed to be humble. (Pride is one of the seven deadly sins.)

Oh..thanks i get it now..I dont really mean it.. Its just that i want to get over all the comments cause i dont really know what to say at first..Sorry

Take pride in whatever you want. As long as it doesn't fall under "sinful" pride. Basically thinking you're worth more than another person. That's where the sin lies.

Well, at least in my humble opinion if that counts for anything. :)

Good, because that isn't arrogance or pride, simply confidence in one's self. :D
